Charity shop shopping

Having recently lost almost three stone all my trousers were too big I had replaced a
few pairs of jeans and two pairs of black trousers for work and that was it. So rather than spend a £100 on new ones I thought I would try our local charity shops and for less than £20 I got six new pairs of trousers.

And the award for the biggest idiot...

Of the day goes to.... Me

While I was at work we had a new lock and intercom system installed at our house can I work it errrr no. I spent five minutes trying to unlock it with my new key, my sister was across the road laughing at me, you have to hold the handle level and pull on it while you turn the key a quarter turn, my mum has come and let me in. Then I tried it using the intercom and it sounded but could I open the door err no.

I think it is going to take some practice if I ever want in to my house again.

A New View

Josef Pitura-Riley first came to my attention when I saw him as Donnie in
Save The Last Dance For Me a few years ago. I’ve also seen him in Dreamboats and
Miniskirts too. He is a very talented actor and singer and player of countless
instruments.

He has a cool YouTube channel
where he puts up great cover videos he also has a free EP A New
View
.

Last week he released a stop motion animated Lego music video for A New View
which has to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen. So I thought I’d share it
with you today.

YouTube

I used to pretty much only watch scrapbooking videos on YouTube, especially Shimelle Laine, but over the last few months I started watching Filofax videos and in the past month or so I’ve become obsessed with Plan With Me videos and Grocery Hauls.

Plan With Me videos are just like they sound, people decorating their planners for the week, usually Erin Condren Life Planners which led me to putting lots of stickers into my Filofax, which I love.

Grocery Haul’s are just like they sound as well, people showing you what grocery’s they bought for the week. I’ll admit I spent most of a Saturday watching these videos.

What are your favourite type of YouTube videos?

National Scrapbooking Day

I seem to have lost my scrapping mojo lately but as today is National Scrapbooking Day I decided I should make a page to share with you. I used a sketch from Alison Davies from a few years ago and made this in about 30 minutes.
