Echo Park

Lately I’m loving everything that is Echo Park. I don’t why i’m liking the bright colours and they work great with the Allison Davies sketches that I’m favouring too.

Here are a few of my favourites available digitally at

Finally did it…

I finally have all my photos imported into Lightroom. They all have at least one keyword now I just have to finish keywording them properly so I can find any photo I want at the drop of a hat.

Here are a few photos I found that I forgot about…

Ctrl Shift S

I decided to change my photo organisation software to Lightroom. I’ll still use ACDSee for my scrapbooking supplies, and Picassa because I like the facial recognition part but I want to go back to organising by Stacey Julian’s photo freedom method. However trying to import my pictures if found over a thousand that it says are corrupt, they aren’t I’ve checked and they are fine so they only way i have figured out to get Lightroom to recognise them is to resave them in Photoshop. so I have a lot of Ctrl Shift S in my future hopefully it will be worth it.

Wish me luck.

I started a blog a few years ago as part of a class I took from Jessica Sprague and after that it rarely got used for anything other than posting the layouts that I have made. I then took a class from Shimelle Laine called Blogging For Scrapbookers. This year I decided to trying to blog every day while I’ve not always succeeded I have tried even if it is just a layout, photo or random video from Youtube.

Shimelle is running another session of Blogging For Scrapbookers, as an Alumni i get to take it for free. So hopefully this will prompt me to continue posting. I made this layout based on the first prompt.

Here is another layout I made a few days ago and didn’t post.

So this afternoon we took my niece and nephew to see Rango. Considering they are only 2 and 4 they behaved remarkably well.

The film wasn’t too bad if you like westerns either.

A Walk In The Park.

I’m really starting to love Echo Park’s digital collections. I made this layout in ten minutes using a template I made out of a Sketch Support Sketch and the Echo Park Walk In the Park Kit.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder

I’ve just finished the first book in the Hannah Swenson Mystery series.  Isn’t Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder a great title for a book. I can’t wait to get started on the next book and find out if Hannah chooses Norman the boring dentist or Mike the Detective. (I vote for Mike.)

Happy St David’s Day.

Since I live in Wales now I guess  I should wish everyone Dydd Gwŷl Dewi Sant hapus ! (don’t ask me how you pronounce it.)

I have very few St David’s Day pictures but here are some of my niece from a few years ago.
