A few more Pretty Paper Party layouts.
When I was looking for photos to scrap I came across some from easter dinner 2010 so I used Shimelle’s June 4x6 photo love sketch.

Proud to Be British.
Last night I sat and watched the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games. Watching the ceremony made me proud to be British, I even sat there with my camera taking pictures of the TV screen.
Now I’m probably not going to watch much of the sports action but the ceremony made me proud to be British.
Even so much as when I went shopping with my nephew so he could pick out his birthday present, I stopped in Build-A-Bear and bought a Great Britain bear which in name Olympia.

More Pretty Paper Party
After being on vacation for a week and then spending a week dog sitting for my sister I hadn’t had much time to scrapbook. So this weekend I made a few pages based on a few more lessons from Pretty Paper Party.

Start ‘em young
The two main subjects of my photography people wise seem to be my niece and nephew.
Both of them love grabbing my camera and taking pictures.
But in the last few days they have wanted to see their pictures, so yesterday I bought them both a photograph album each and we have been printing pictures to add into it.
They keep asking when was that, how old was I?
They also keep asking for pictures of places they remember going.
Got to start ‘em young.

Day 7–Liverpool
We caught an early train to Chester and then changed to get to Liverpool Lime Street (which turned out to underground – why oh why couldn’t we have gone to the part that’s above ground).
It was tipping down with rain. Since we decided we were going to take the bus tour we wandered around looking for the stop but couldn’t find it. So we went to the St George’s Hall and looked around their heritage centre – and got to see a court room from all angles until we could find someone to ask for directions.
Once we found out where the stop was we had to wait in the rain.
Once the bus turned up we opted to sit downstairs but the bus leaked and we got wet.
We decided to get off at China Town. – Other than the gate it seemed to just be Chinese restaurants that were all closed.
We then walked to the Anglican Cathedral but unfortunately Liverpool University had thousands of students there graduation so we couldn’t look around.
We headed back to the bus and went to the Albert Dock where we had lunch.
We got to see the Mersey.
We hit up the gift shop of the Tate Liverpool where I bought Todd a Mr Benn bookmark.
And since we were there we took pictures with the Royal Liver Building
We went back to the bus stop and got back on the tour. We hopped off in town and by accident we found the Cavern quarter. We found statues of the Beatles on a hotel.
And in the next alley was the Cavern Club. Now I’m not a huge Beatles fan but when in Liverpool…
We walked back towards the train station and then went to the World Museum where Todd photographed practically the whole museum.
We then caught the train back to Prestatyn. We went for a final dinner before going back to pack. It was still tipping down with rain.
