National Scrapbooking Day

I seem to have lost my scrapping mojo lately but as today is National Scrapbooking Day I decided I should make a page to share with you. I used a sketch from Alison Davies from a few years ago and made this in about 30 minutes.

Journaling woes

Does anyone else draw a blank when it comes to journaling? Most of these have been finished for a while except the journaling. I keep wanting to write something deep and meaningful and then I keep putting it off trying to write the perfect journaling and then I just end up writing something superficial to get the page finished.

So I finally made a layout…

I was doing really well making layouts and blogging before I went on holiday in February since then I’ve started about six layouts and then stopped this is the first one I’ve finished other than keeping up with Project Life since then.

The left page is a scraplift off a page I saw in an old issue of Scrapbook magazine.

I finally made a Christmas layout

So I finally made a Christmas layout. I usually have at least one done by the end of the year but as I still was trying to get my puppy on a schedule I didn’t have time.

The Fifteen Minute Layout

I had about fifteen minutes before my puppy usually wakes up so I wanted to try and see if I could get a layout done in that time.

I picked a sketch from Creating With Sketches Vol 1 by Creative Scrappers, quickly choose three pictures from the first page that opened up when I opened Lightroom, I choose the kit the opened when Picasa opened which turned out to be the original Amy Tangerine kit, I opened a new blank document in Photoshop and this is the result.

All completed in 14:54:98 according to the timer on my iPhone.

Feeling inspired…

Since I actually made a layout I’ve been inspired to make more. So using some Shimelle Laine starting points I made another two layouts in the last two days starting before work and finishing when I got home.
