Scrapbooking with Eyelets or Brads

The fifth challenge was to use Eyelets or Brads. I lifted Shimelle’s layout as inspiration.

Write with Repetition

The fourth challenge was to write your journaling with repetition.  This one was harder. I was looking through my digital kits and found the Amy Tangerine Surround paper which repeated the work Love. So I went and found some pictures from my friend’s wedding last year and decided to use the Love is… reading they had at their wedding as the journaling. (It’s a stretch I know.)

Scrapbooking with Spray Inks and Mists

Challenge 3 was to use spray ink or mists  since I’m a digital scrapbooker this is a little harder than grabbing a bottle of mist from the shelf. I remembered that I had a couple digital mist brushes from Splendid Fiins but they were a little too powerful. So as it is national scrapbooking day I went shopping. I found some dynamic brushes which created spray, thin spray and a dots.

Scrapbooking with 4x6 photos

The second challenge was to scrapbook with 4x6 photos. I have a tendency to use 4x6 photos now unless I’m using a sketch by Alison Davies as I want to get lots of photos on one page.  I must be inspired as I’ve completed the second challenge and it’s only 8.30 am UK time.  This was inspired by Shimelle’s 3 photo layout.

Scrapbook In Pink

Today is National Scrapbooking Day and Shimelle Laine is posting a series of challenges on her blog. The first challenge is to scrapbook using pink. Pink is not my favourite colour but my niece loves it.

I used the basis of her video as a starting point for this layout.

Challenge 1 done.
