So I’m taking Allison Davis’s Sketch Support class over at My Creative Classroom. During the class she talks about three approaches to sketches. Simple – where you follow the sketch exactly. Enhanced – were you use the sketch as both direction and suggestion and Extreme where you just use it as a suggestion as a starting point.
My style of using sketches seems to be some where between the first two.
Here is my Simple layout based on the first sketch.
And here is my enhanced layout.

Hopefully the class will push me to use the extreme approach.
