Week 30

Day Three

We drove to Anglesey. It seemed like we were doing a tour of their supermarkets looking for a Wii U for Ryan. After that we drove onto Holyhead and went to the South Stack lighthouse. We were planning on walking down to it but you ended up having to walk a couple miles before you even got to start down the 400 steps.

Right next to the car park there is a collection of Hut Circles, and after watching Time Team for years it was nice to see them.

Once we were done with Anglesey we crossed back over the Menai bridge.

On the way back we stopped at Rhuddlan Castle.

Day Two

We started the day with Mum trying to find a big enough bowl for her cereal.

We then drove to Chester Zoo.  There were lots of baby animals.

 

 

There was a giant animatronic bug exhibit.

 

 

 

On the way back we stopped at Flint Castle.

 

Once we got back to caravan park we had dinner and looked around.

Day One

We left at 9am and drove to Harlech Castle. We had to drive over a small rickety bridge and we got stuck in traffic as a small town was having a sports festival and it was blocking the road.

 

We then started to drive to the caravan park but the sat nav decided to stop working. We had to use my iPhone for directions and find somewhere to stop so we could find something to plug it into the cigarette lighter so my battery didn’t die.  When we got there we checked in and went for dinner.
